How to migrate existing windows from one hardware to another (dissimilar) hardware 1:Copy Sysprep folder to C:\ drive. 2:Copy new sysprep.exe from version 1.1 into sysprep folder. 3:Copy SCSI needed SCSI drives to C:\drivers\scsi (this is location specified in sysprep.inf) If necessary also copy the drivers to c:\sysprep\i386. 4:Run sysprep -BMSD 5:Go through Mini-setup and reboot again. 6:Repeat steps 1 and 2. 7:Run sysprep -quiet -reseal 8:Take image of server (eg. using ghost) 9:Drop image on new server and reboot.
