how to install with zfs root

During install, in the selection of installation type, from options provided

  1. Solaris Interactive (default
  2. Custom Jumpstart
  3. Solaris Interactive Text (Desktop session)
  4. Solaris Interactive Text (Console session)
    (Select option 3 or 4 to install a ZFS root file system)
  5. Apply driver updates
  6. Single user shell

make sure you select either 3 or 4
