open cmd prompt with elevated (administrator) privilege

1. Identify the target editions that you can convert to

DISM /online /Get-TargetEditions

e.g. it may say

ServerDatacenter
ServerStandard
 

2. Have the product key ready for the target edition to convert e.g. to ServerStandard

DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula
