How to use vinagre (Remote Desktop Viewer) to connect with RDP protocol to a remote Windows host

launch vinagre

# vinagre &

Click Connect

In the Protocol drop down, select RDP

In the Host field, enter the remote host IP or name
Enter the Username and Domain
and select the Resolution and scaling options.

Click Connect
